hi. i’m kate.
Moonflower Apothecary is a 100% foraged & homegrown apothecary.
My mission is to provide quality products and experiences that help educate others on how they can safely forage native plants and mushrooms that offer nutritional and medicinal benefits right in their backyard!
My shop features handmade items & art inspired by nature. I make every single retail item I sell by hand with love and intention. Everything you see at Moonflower Apothecary (logo, graphics, labels, flyers, website, etc) was designed by me to give my customers a personal & thoughtful experience.
My goal is to show our community how nature can provide us with everything we need to thrive and survive; physically, mentally & spiritually.
I strive to provide educational & healing experiences, resources and intentionally crafted products to improve your quality of life and strengthen your connection with nature.
Accessibility, affordability & inclusivity are very important to me.

{the seed}
In 2018, I bled to death while giving birth to our youngest child. That experience has forever changed me. I spiraled into a deep, dark depression and nature was what saved me.
I hiked my way out of a very dark place. I stepped into the forest completely lost; the forest helped me find myself again.
The forest has provided me with the space, quiet, stillness, permission and ability to cope with my trauma and heal deep generation and ancestral wounds.
I hope to share all of the lessons I have learned from the forest and her magic with all of you.
